Plea for amnesty

NEW DELHI: Delhi BJP president Harsh Vardhan has urged the Centre and the Delhi Government to declare all illegal and additional constructions made in the Capital so far as “regularised” under an amnesty scheme.

In a statement, Dr. Vardhan said it was the increase in demand for housing and complete failure of the Delhi Development Authority and the State Government to provide the same that had made people resort to illegal constructions.
