Karimnagar clinches AP Transco cricket trophy

Rajahmundry: AP Transco Karimnagar operation circle won the trophy in AP Transco, Discom inter-circle Cricket Tournament at Arts College grounds by beating Visakhapatnam Discom team on Monday.
Valedictory function was arranged on Monday night and East Godavari SP B. Srinivasulu gave away the prizes.
Speaking on the occasion, he said that conducting games and sports for the employees every year is a good gesture and it will give relief from routine to them. He said that employees working in Electricity are doing thankless job and they are working under exemplary conditions like cyclones, heat waves and during other natural calamities. He asked the employees to spend at least one hour on any sport or game in a day to keep good health and also improve their skills.
AP Transco Superintendent Engineer (operations) N. Hanumantha Rao presided over the function. He said that 32 teams from all over the State participated .
