TDP cycle yatra for the cause of farmers

KHAMMAM: The Telugu Desam Party will organise a ‘cycle yatra’ in Khammam district from December 1 to take stock of the woes of farmers in all the 46 revenue mandals. The party’s State committee leader Nama Nageswara Rao will spearhead the ‘yatra’.

The yatra was aimed at mobilising the support of the peasants on issues concerning the community – such as support price for the paddy and cotton. The exercise was expected to take the party closure to the farmers. Party president N. Chandrababu Naidu called upon the cadres, over mobile phone, to make the rally a big success.
