Focus on PR practices

JAIPUR: A two-day convention on public relations in business, beginning here on November 23, will examine the utility of PR practices and initiatives in adding value to the brand image, corporate image, growth, human resource development and academics.

The convention, titled “Enterprise: Adding value”, is being organised by the Bangalore-based Public Relations Council of India (PRCI) in association with Rajasthan University’s Centre for Mass Communication. The PRCI will formally launch its Jaipur chapter on the occasion.

The Managing Director of Karnataka Power Corporation Limited, L.V. Nagarajan, will deliver the keynote address, while the Deputy Chairman of the Rajasthan Government’s Economic Policy and Reforms Council, Harishankar Bhabhra, will inaugurate the convention.

Centre for Mass Communication head Sanjeev Bhanawat said here on Monday that the event, likely to be attended by about 150 PR professionals from across the country.
