L & T JV bags tunnelling order for airport

CHENNAI: Larsen & Toubro, in association with Shanghai Urban Construction (Group) Corporation, has secured a design and build contract valued at Rs. 275 crore from Delhi Metro Railway Corporation (DMRC). According to a release, the contract is for the construction of 2.4 km of underground twin tunnel starting from the IGI Airport station to Dwarka Sector-21 in the Airport Metro Express Line of the Phase II of DMRC project. — Corporate Reporter
