AREVA T&D India wins Tech-innovation award

CHENNAI: AREVA T&D India has won the technology (process) adaptation, upgradation, efficiency and innovation award (2006-07) in the transmission and distribution category for design, installation and commissioning of India’s first 765 kV SF6 EHV circuit breaker. The product has been deployed for the NTPC super thermal power substation, at Sipat, Chhattisgarh. — Corporate Reporter
