Residents’ plea

Residents of Kanuvai, off Thadagam Road, called for immediate steps to remove a liquor shop run by the Tamil Nadu State Marketing Corporation in their area. The residents said they had already staged a road blockade to demand the shifting of the shop. Since no action had been taken till now, they were forced to submit a petition to Collector Neeraj Mittal to press the demand.
