Plea to cut interest rates

TIRUPUR: Customers of Indian Overseas Bank on Saturday urged the authorities to bring down the interest rates considering the difficulties of textile sector in the wake of rupee appreciation against the U.S. dollar. T. Thenappan, chief regional manager of the bank, promised the customers to take up their demand with his higher ups.
