Blueline terror

NEW DELHI: A college girl and an unidentified cyclist were killed in separate road accidents involving Blueline buses in the Capital on Monday.

The first accident took place around noon when 18-year-old Pearl Gupta, a student of Aditi College, was hit by a scooter outside her college. . She fell and came under the rear tyres of a Blueline bus. Pearl was rushed to hospital where she was declared brought dead. Angry college students blocked traffic on Auchandi Road. They dispersed after the police assured them of immediate action.

In another accident, a middle-aged cyclist was run over by a Blueline bus plying on route 543 at Pandav Nagar on National Highway-24 near Akshardham temple in the evening.
