Man murdered
A 25-year-old man was murdered by unidentified persons in Rajendranagar on Sunday night. Tirumala Rao (25), a native of Prakasam district came to the city one week ago to meet his brother Sudesh. On Sunday night, Rao went to Mailardevpally in Rajendranagar and consumed liquor.
A group of persons accosted him when he was returning to his brother’s house at Rajendranagar. After a heated argument, they smashed his head with a boulder killing him, said the police.
Tailor killed
A tailor, N. Rama Rao, (30), was killed after a motorcyclist rammed into him near his house at Vijayasri Colony in Vanasthalipuram on Sunday night. The police said Rao was crossing the road when the accident happened.
Student falls from bus, dies
A degree student, who suffered serious injuries after accidentally falling from a RTC bus at IDPL Colony on Thursday, succumbed to injuries at the Gandhi Hospital on Monday.
L. Uday Kumar (19) of Jeedimetla was reportedly standing on the footboard when he slipped and suffered severe injuries, the police said.
