BSNL workers seek 3G technology

PUDUCHERRY: The State executive committee of National Union of BSNL Workers (FNTO), which met here recently, has demanded the Central government to permit BSNL to use 3G technology and issue orders to purchase equipment.

According to a press release from S. Sadhasivam, district secretary, the union also demanded that the committee on pay anomalies submit its report and time bound five-phase promotion be implemented for Group C and D employees.
