Sub-standard drugs

BANGALORE: The Drug Control Department said the following drugs are not of standard quality: Norfloxacin tablets I.P.400 mg (N-FLOX) (Batch NN 504 — manufactured by Gopish Pharma, Delhi); Supracal Suspension (Batch SCS-727 F – manufactured by Pharmed Meicare Pvt. Ltd, Hoskote, Bangalore); Rabeprazole Sodium Tablets (Rabitop-20) (Batch BHG-737 — manufactured by BHC Lab (P) Ltd, Baddi, Dist: Solan (HP); and Pantoprazole Tablets (Pantosec) 40 mg (Batch AH 7051 — by Cipla Ltd, Roorkee Haridwar. The Department warned chemists, wholesalers, doctors, hospitals, nursing homes not to stock, sell or use these drugs. — Staff Reporter
