A manhole jutting out at Pedawaltair Junction.
VISAKHAPATNAM: Manholes jutting out of a few inches above road level are proving nightmarish to road-users making people wonder why they are not level with the road. One comes across a few glaring instances at the posh MVP Colony. On the road from Ushodaya Junction to MVP Colony a divider sticks out and is almost dome-shaped. Two-wheeler drivers are facing a tough time driving at night owing to its proximity to the road-divider. The glare of the vehicles coming in the opposite direction makes it difficult to the two-wheeler driver to see what lay ahead of him. Another glaringly jutting manhole is seen on the road leading to Peda Waltair near Ramalakshmi apartments. Picture shows it projecting a few inches above the road and any mistake on the part of the driver to make way for any other vehicle may prove costly.
