Minister refutes charges

KOCHI: There is no dispute about the land in Ponmudi that has been shortlisted for being handed over to the Indian Space Research Organisation for setting up a space institute, Revenue Minister K. P. Rajendran has said. The land will be handed over once ISRO comes up with their report, he said at Maradu here on Tuesday. Speaking about allegations of some people encroaching on Government land in Valanthakad, near Maradu, he said that land survey was on in the area and surrounding places. Steps would be taken to ensure that Government land was not alienated, he said. – Staff Reporter
