Enrolment of voters

ADILABAD: Persons who will attain the age of 18 years as on January 1, 2008 can enrol themselves as voters by applying in Form-6 by December 12. Those who desire their names to be deleted from the list, or have objections on existing entries should apply in Form-7 while applications for corrections in entries can be made in Form-8.

Similarly, if a voter desires to get his name shifted to a different constituency, he can apply in Form 8A. An official press release here said persons applying newly for enrolment can submit two recent passport size photographs for getting an Electors Photo Identity Card (EPIC) in Form EPIC-001A and those who are enrolled but do not have EPICs can submit applications in Form EPIC 001B along with the photos. The applications need to be submitted to the designated officers at the respective polling station or Electoral Registration Officer (RDO) or Deputy ERO or concerned Tahsildar.
