Krishnasamy appears in court

CHENNAI: Puthiya Thamizhagam leader K. Krishnasamy on Tuesday appeared before the Judicial Magistrate Court at Tambaram in connection with a murder case.
Madasamy (35) was hacked to death in Tirusulam in December 2005, as a fallout of a controversy surrounding a stone quarry.
The Pallavaram police cited Dr. Krishnasamy and 13 others as accused.
In October this year, Dr. Krishnasamy appeared before the District Court in Chengalpattu, which ordered him to appear before the JM’s Court at Tambaram. One of the 13 accused, Muthiah, died some time ago, the police said.
The PT leader and 12 others were asked to appear again on January 21.
