KGOU annual meet on November 24

ALAPPUZHA: The 22nd district annual conference of the Kerala Gazetted Officers’ Union (KGOU) will be held at the Brothers’ Tourist Home here from 10 a.m. onwards on November 24.

According to KGOU district president P. Pushparajan, District Congress Committee president A.A. Shukoor would inaugurate the meeting which would have a special talk on the ‘Global significance of Gandhism’ by KPCC Vichar Vibhag Ernakulam district president T.S. Joy.

The conference will deliberate on the anomalies in the last pay revision and pass a resolution to exert pressure on the State government to rectify the ‘anomalies.’ The need to enhance pension age, the necessity to adhere to rules while transferring officials and the course of action of the Union’s agitation against corruption will also be on the conference agenda, Mr. Pushparajan said in a statement here on Wednesday.
