Medical services hit for the second day

ANANTAPUR: Doctors of the general hospital attached to the Government Medical College here boycotted their duties for the second day on Wednesday, opposing the semi-autonomous status to both the institutions.

As a result, the medical services offered in the hospital were hit completely causing hardship to the poor patients.

The doctors, medicos and other staff of the hospital and the medical college staged a demonstration wearing black badges protesting the government decision to give semi-autonomous status to the medical college and the hospital.
