BIJAPUR: A man committed suicide after he lost Rs. 1,000 which he had kept for buying medicines at Narasalagi tanda in Muddebihal taluk on Monday. Police gave the name of the deceased as Dharmanna Lamani (35). He had gone to the taluk headquarters on Saturday to purchase some medicines and other commodities, but reportedly lost the money he had kept in his pocket. Upset by this he committed suicide by consuming pesticide. — Staff Correspondent
