Director-General of Police K.R. Srinivasan will inaugurate it Belguam: The Department of Forensic Medicine and Toxicology of J.N. Medical College, a constituent institution of Belgaum- based KLE University, will be organising the VIII annual national conference of Indian Congress of Forensic Medicine and Toxicology (ICFMT) at Dr. B.S. Jirge Memorial Auditorium on the college campus from Thursday. The three-day conference will be inaugurated by K.R. Srinivasan, Director-General of Police. Raghavendra Auradker, Inspector-General of Police (Northern Range); Hemant Nimbalkar, Superintendent of Police; B.M. Mohan, Director, Forensic Science Laboratory, Bangalore; and T.D. Dogra, president, ICFMT; will be present at the inaugural function which will be presided over by KLEU Chancellor Prabhakar B. Kore. About 250 delegates from all over the country and abroad are expected to participate in the conference. To commemorate the event, a souvenir will be released by KLEU Vice-Chancellor Chandrakant K. Kokate, according to organising secretary of the conference Manjula Bai K.H., here on Wednesday.
