Kho-kho tourney from December 22

Kakinada: The 53rd national kho-kho championship will be held here from December 22 to 26. The national kabaddi championship will be organised at Gollalamamidada in the district from January 13 to 17, 2008, according to Collector M. Subrahmanyam.

Speaking at a coordination committee meeting at his office here on Wednesday, Mr. Subrahmanyam said some 800 sportsmen and women were expected to participate in the two events to be held at PR High School and Ideal College.
