Accused escapes

Tuticorin: The police are on the look for P Murugapandi (35), an accused in a civil case, who ran away while he was brought before a sub court here on Monday evening. According to police sources, he escaped from the Court premises while a court staff was accompanying him to the proceedings.

The accused pretended of taking some tablets for stomach pain and then ran away. — Staff Reporter
