Seminar on VAT

KOCHI: J.B. Koshy, judge of the High Court, has termed value added tax (VAT) a progressive form of taxation. He was inaugurating a seminar on VAT, organised by the Indian Institute of Materials Management (IIMM). He highlighted the importance of multiple point tax. Jacob Mathew, chairman of the IIMM branch, welcomed the gathering. — Staff Reporter
