Contempt notice

BANGALORE: A Division Bench of the High Court of Karnataka, comprising Justice Chidanand Ullal and Justice H. Bilappa, on Wednesday asked why charges of contempt should not be framed against the Commissioner for Public Instruction and three other officials for not obeying court orders.

The court had directed the authorities to redo the reservation of posts of primary school teachers so as to provide five per cent reservation to the physically challenged. The Bench adjourned further hearing in the case.
