Legislature mourns Pramod Navalkar

NAGPUR: Both the Houses of the Maharashtra legislature adjourned on Wednesday after paying tributes to the Shiv Sena leader, Pramod Navalkar, who passed away on Tuesday.

Chief Minister Vilasrao Deshmukh moved the condolence resolution in the Assembly while his deputy R.R. Patil tabled it in the Legislative Council.

Mr. Navalkar was a member of both the Houses at different times.

Leaders of all parties recalled the qualities of the late leader and the resolutions were passed unanimously.
