This Day That Age
Mr. Nikita Khrushchev has stressed that “relations between countries having their own social systems should be based on the five principles of peaceful co-existence which were formulated by India and China and developed at the Bandung conference”. Unless that was recognised, Mr. Khrushchev told an American correspondent in Moscow on November 20 that a meeting between representatives of capitalist and socialist countries would be “pointless”, for it would be futile to haggle.
