3i Infotech to expand operations in Chennai

CHENNAI: 3i Infotech plans to expand its operation in Chennai by launching its first International Data Centre (IDC), which will offer managed hosting services for application and disaster recovery solutions. Similarly, it planned to launch remote IT infrastructure management services through its global network and security operations centre (GNSOC). The company is also setting up mini centres of excellence (COEs) for operating systems such as Microsoft, Red Hat Linux, AIX, Solaris and Databases. — Staff Correspondent
