Mixed day for Bopanna

NEW DELHI: Rohan Bopanna in partnership with Aisam-ul-Haq Qureshi of Pakistan saved two match points to record a thrilling 6-1, 6-7(5), 13-11 victory over Patrick Briaud of the U.S. and Alessandro Motti of Italy in the pre-quarterfinals of the $150,000 Malaysian Open tennis tournament at Kuala Lumpur on Wednesday. However, Bopanna lost to Wesley Moodie of South Africa 6-2, 7-5 in a first round singles match.
