CHANDIGARH: A buffer stock of 50,000 Metric Tonnes (MT) of urea has been created for Haryana by its Lead Fertilizer Supplier KRIBHCO against which 33,000 MT has already been stocked and the rest would be stocked by the end of this month, Director Agriculture Sumita Misra said here on Wednesday. She disclosed that the buffer stock had been created in keeping with the guidelines of the Centre to avoid any shortage of urea fertilizer in the State. She assured farmers of availability of sufficient stocks of urea in Haryana and said all arrangements had already been made by the State Government to ensure that there is no shortage.
