Court directive on B.Ed admissions
Legal Correspondent
Hyderabad: A Division Bench of the High Court comprising acting Chief Justice Bilal Nazki and Justice Ramesh Ranga Nathan on Wednesday declared that the admissions into B.Ed colleges in minority institutions shall be done by a committee comprising nominees of government and the managements.
These orders were passed in a writ appeal filed by Anwar-ul-Uloom College.
The government declared that the convenor shall allot the seats to minority students. The managements wanted that they alone allot the seats. The Division Bench now made it clear that the representative of the association of managements and the representative of the convenor will jointly make admissions.
If there is a dispute between the representatives the issue will be referred to the convenor.
