Court declines to take up plea

NEW DELHI: The Delhi High Court on Wednesday declined to take up a petition against the High Capacity Bus System (HCBS) while referring to news reports that the project had been appreciated by experts from London.

The court asked the petitioner, who wanted directions to the Delhi government to review the project in view of a recent fatal accident at a site for HCBS corridor, to file his suggestions on safety of road users before the traffic police.
