“Not enough funds for welfare schemes”

NEW DELHI: Manavta Abhiyan, a socio-political group, has accused the Delhi Government of not spending enough this fiscal on any of the welfare schemes sanctioned by it to provide relief to vulnerable sections of society.

Abhiyan president M. K. Gandhi said it was unfortunate that due to Welfare Ministry’s callous attitude the interests of the disabled, widows and poor senior citizens were being ignored.
