‘Fugitive’ Kishan and accomplice arrested

HYDERABAD: Forty-year-old G. Kishan, who escaped from Uppal police station 10 days ago by removing his handcuff and his accomplice N. Rakesh, were arrested by the city police on Wednesday.

Gold jewellery and silver articles, all worth Rs. 5 lakh, allegedly stolen by the duo from different parts of the city in the past two years were recovered at his instance, East Zone DCP T. Prabhakar Rao told a press meet. Kishan was wanted by the Rajasthan police in many burglaries.
