Call to widen Dindigul main road

TIRUCHI: The Selva Nagar Extension Civic Exnora has urged the authorities to widen the Dindigul main road from Aristo Hotel Junction to Koraiyar bridge as the road has become congested besides being an accident prone area.

A resolution to this effect was adopted at the executive committee meeting held here recently. It also urged the authorities to take up flood prevention works in Karumandapam besides construction of two more vents beneath the Uyyakondan river. It also appealed to construct a garbage manure shed at Selva Nagar extension area.

The meeting, presided over by the president M. Aravalli, also discussed issues pertaining to cleaning and greening activities in Selva Nagar extension area.
