Notification tabled

NEW DELHI: The Centre on Wednesday tabled in Parliament the Gazette Notification on proclamation of President’s Rule in Karnataka. Governor Rameshwar Thakur’s report, recommending imposition of President’s Rule, was also tabled along with the Notification.

Minister of State for Home Affairs Sriprakash Jaiswal tabled both the proclamation and the report. Parliamentary Affairs Minister Priyaranjan Dasmunsi told reporters that the proclamation was likely to be discussed and approved next week.
