Cradle Baby Scheme to be inaugurated

PUDUCHERRY: Union Minister for Women and Child Welfare Renuka Choudhary will inaugurate the Annai Sonia Gandhi Cradle Baby Scheme on December 9, a press release from Social Welfare Minister M. Kandasamy has said. Lt. Governor Mukut Mithi, Chief Minister N. Rangasamy, Mr. Kandasamy, Members of Parliament and MLAs would participate in the function to be held at Anandha Thirumana Nilayam at 9 am. Ms. Choudhary, who is expected to come to Puducherry on the evening of December 8, would also review the functioning of the Social Welfare Department, the release said.
