Pharmacy college inaugurated

VIZIANAGARAM: Andhra University Vice-Chancellor L. Venugopala Reddy inaugurated the newly established St. Ann’s College of Pharmacy at Cantonment here on Wednesday evening.
Speaking on the occasion, he foresaw bright future for pharma students. He said that the number of colleges increased from 30 in the past to 217 this year and added that there were 28 colleges in Andhra University area alone. He asked students to improve soft skills, body language etc instead of concentrating on securing higher marks. Later, he inspected the facilities such as laboratory, computers and library. Principal of the college K.P.R.Chowdhury and others were present.
DSC counselling
Amid allegations of injustice meted out to a few reserved and women rankers, counselling for candidates selected in DSC-2006 (school assistants, language pundits and PETs) was conducted peacefully at the Collectorate here on Thursday.
