Arrested for smuggling jaggery

ATTUR: Police seized 21 bags of jaggery which was smuggled for brewing illicit liquor and arrested a person in this regard on Wednesday. A team of personnel conducted raids in Kunnur village in Kalrayan Hills and found 21 bags of jaggery and other raw materials for brewing illicit liquor hoarded in a house. They also seized illicit liquor from the house. The personnel arrested Chinnapaiyan (35) in this connection.
