Protest against Janata Dal(S)

KOLAR: Scores of Bharatiya Janata Party activists staged a protest here on Thursday condemning withdrawal of support to the B.S. Yeddyurappa-led Government by Janata Dal (Secular). Led by MLC D.S. Veeraiah, the workers took out a procession from Mahatma Gandhi Park up to Mekke circle. Effigies of JD(S) supremo H.D. Deve Gowda and former Chief Minister H.D. Kumaraswamy were burnt at the circle to register their protest. Vehicular movement was affected for some time due to road blockade by agitators.
