The four aces of the contest

BANGALORE: After gruelling rounds of questioning, three girls and a boy were chosen to be part of the Horlicks Wiz Team India 2007 at the national finals of the Horlicks WizKids 2007 competition held at the Dr. Ambedkar Bhavan here on Wednesday.
The four-member team comprising Anees Backer from TOCH Public School, Kochi; Afrah Saleem from NASR School, Hyderabad; Aishwarya Singhdeo from The Sanskaar Valley School, Bhopal; and Shrea Kapoor from R.N. Podar School, Mumbai, vied with 47 finalists from other cities and emerged victorious to form the Horlicks Wiz Team India 2007.
The team members will now present “The India children’s charter of human responsibilities” in Brazil.
The national finals comprised of rounds such as introduction, talent show and judges’ questions. Television actor Aman Varma, Yahoo India chief executive officer Sharad Sharma, principal of Vidya Niketan Public School Nalini Ponappa and international athlete Ashwani Nachappa were the judges. General manager (Nutritional), Glaxo SmithKline Consumer Healthcare, Sumeet Saluja felicitated the winners.
