Cyclist killed

ARUPPUKOTTAI: A cyclist, N. Bhuvaneswari (24), was fatally knocked down by a speeding lorry on the Tuticorin highway here on Thursday morning. According to police, the woman was cycling her way to a computer centre when the sugar-laden lorry bound for Tuticorin from Mayiladuthurai hit her bicycle near Rajiv Nagar. — Staff Reporter
