“Improve facilities at Siddha college”

Tirunelveli: Collector G. Prakash inaugurated a blood donation camp jointly organised by the Corporation and the Government Siddha Medical College, on the college premises here on Thursday.

In all, students of the Government Siddha Medical College donated 60 units to the blood bank of the Tirunelveli Medical College and Hospital.

Mr. Prakash asked the college authorities to improve the infrastructure facilities like drainage, toilets, drinking water and furniture, at the earliest, as per the suggestions made by the Tamil Nadu Assembly Assurance Committee which visited the college recently.

M. Dinakaran, the principal of Government Siddha Medical College, K. Muthuramalingam, the Deputy Mayor of Tirunelveli Corporation, T. Mohan, the Corporation Commissioner, and senior officials of various departments, were present.
