India tied 11th

DONGGUAN (China): India’s Jyoti Randhawa and Gaurav Ghei shot a strong round of seven-under 65 to be tied 11th after the first round of the Omega Mission Hills World Cup here on Thursday.

Randhawa sunk six birdies as India made a strong mark on its debut in the World Cup.

USA’s Boo Weekley and Heath Slocum led the field with a score of 61, a stroke better than Germany.
