Gowjith and Satheesh shine

Kochi: Chennai’s Gowjith Subhash (87) and Satheesh (four for 37) helped host Cordiant-Tripunithura CC defeat Buddies Infotech (Chennai) by two wickets in a Pool ‘B’ league match of the 57th Cordiant-Pooja all-India cricket tournament near here on Thursday.

The scores: Buddies Infotech, Chennai 217 in 44.2 overs (Murali 65, Sreeram 50, Satheesh four for 37) lost to Cordiant-Tripunithura CC 221 for eight in 42.2 overs (Gowjith Subhash 87).
