Computers donated to six government schools

KANCHEEPURAM: Two computers each were donated to six government schools in Kancheepuram district through ‘peer educators’ programme of Nokia India on Friday.
Handing over the computers to the heads of respective schools at a function held at Government Higher Secondary School, Mathur, near Sriperumpudur, the Operations Director (Operations and Logistics), Nokia India, Sachin Saxena, said that the programme was It was aimed at improving education and health among rural masses through a volunteers-led campaign.
The Government Higher Secondary Schools at Molachur, Madhuramangalam and Sriperumpudur, Government High Schools at Sriperumpudur and Banrutti were the other schools which received computers.
