Vast deposit of thorium beneath Ram Sethu: vedike

DAVANGERE: The deposits of thorium is estimated at 40 million tonnes at Ram Sethu, said Muniyappa, convener of Sri Rameshwaram Sri Rama Sethu Rakshana Vedike. The bridge was also the lifeline for lakhs of families of fishermen.

Any right thinking individual would not agree with the Government proposal to dismantle the bridge, he said.
