JE beaten up

New Delhi: A North Delhi Councillor allegedly beat up a junior engineer who was getting an illegal construction demolished. Rekha Gupta, Councillor from Pitampura (North) allegedly beat up Manoj Shah, a JE working from Rohini zone, sources said. Gupta, who is also the chairperson of the Women and Child Development Committee, visited the Pitampura police post late last evening to sort out the issue. The Councillors were trying to settle down the issue with the help of senior cops.
