It promises incentives and trade exchange programmes BANGALORE: Poland will welcome investors from Karnataka in general and from Bangalore in particular. The Polish Government would extend all help for investors, including giving incentives and organising trade exchange programmes, the Head of Trade and Investment Promotion Section Embassy of Poland in New Delhi, Wlodzimierz Madziar, on Thursday told the Federation of Karnataka Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FKCCI). In an interactive meeting here, Mr. Madziar said that the main fields that could evince considerable interest in Indian investors would be machinery and equipment for power plants, including generators, turbines, boilers, transmission grid construction, electrification of towns and villages, electric motors, lamps and energy cables. He said that though Poland had not been in the business of construction of large power plants it eventually would arrive there as a movement had started in that direction. Investment opportunities were open in modernisation and electrification of railways, various projects in infrastructure and transport, housing, construction of roads and bridges. In his welcome address, FKCCI president S.S. Patil said that Poland and India were among the fastest growing economies of the world and the growth pattern of both countries were alike.
FKCCI vice-president D. Muralidhar and FKCCI International Trade Committee chairman J.R. Bangera were present.
