Manipal: Director of T.A. Pai Management Institute (TAPMI) D. Nagabrahmam said on Friday that it was necessary to make proper utilisation of social capital. He was speaking at the inaugural function of a seminar on “Role of social capital in organisational performance” organised by TAPMI on the occasion of its Industry Interface Day here. Dr. Nagabrahmam said that the concept of social capital has been in existence for the last 100 years. It was a relevant concept. Corporate organisations also have social responsibility in addition to their other functions, he said. Ajit Chakravarthi and R. Bharat of TAPMI Centre for Executive Education, Bangalore, were present on the occasion.
