CHANDIGARH: The Haryana Pavilion at the ongoing India International Trade Fair in Delhi has so far received 8,182 domestic and 14 international export trade enquiries worth about Rs.12.33 crore, officials told visiting journalists from Chandigarh. They disclosed that these queries related to agro-industries, automobile parts, non-conventional sources of energy, electrical components, cement industry products, solar energy-based appliances and food processing. Focus on processed foodThe focus is on “Processed food and agro-industries” this year. Nearly 90 exhibitors have put up their stalls at the Haryana Pavilion. Export enquiries have been received from countries like Brazil, Kenya, Poland, Abu Dhabi, Kazakhstan, Panama, Afghanistan, Bangkok, Costa Rica, Columbia, Dubai and the UAE. Officials said that Gopi Appliances, one of the premier manufacturer of kitchen and allied electrical appliances, had received several trade enquiries. Solanand Solar Systems, which has exhibited a solar energy water purifier, has also got many international business enquiries.
